Shipping & Returns

1. UK shipping — free

Shipping within the United Kingdom is free for the buyer on every original artwork purchased through Studio Direct. Every UK order ships with a tracked, insured courier appropriate to the medium and value of the work.

UK shipping cost is absorbed by the artist as part of consignment: each artist arranges, pays for and insures their own tracked courier when their work sells. There is nothing further for the buyer to pay on UK deliveries.

2. International shipping

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, the artist is responsible for arranging and paying for international postage, protective packaging and transit insurance. Studio Direct does not provide prepaid labels or reimburse artists for postage costs.

International orders are shipped with a fully tracked, insured courier arranged by the artist. The buyer is not charged by Studio Direct for the artist's postage, packaging or transit insurance.

3. International taxes & customs duties

For international orders outside the UK, the client/buyer is entirely responsible for any local import duties, customs fees, and local taxes payable upon entry to their destination country.

Studio Direct and the artist have no control over, and cannot estimate on your behalf, the charges levied by your local customs authority. Refusal to pay import duties or collect the parcel does not entitle the buyer to a refund of the artwork.

4. Returns

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, only for undamaged work in its original packaging. Return shipping is at the buyer's expense and must use a tracked, insured service. For international returns, the buyer is also responsible for any duties or fees incurred on the return leg.

5. Transit damage

Any transit damage must be reported to Studio Direct within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of both the work and the packaging. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method once the work is received and inspected, or once a courier insurance claim is settled.
