Shipping & Returns

1. UK shipping — free

Shipping within the United Kingdom is free on every original artwork purchased through Studio Direct. All UK orders are dispatched with a tracked, insured courier appropriate to the medium and value of the work.

Artists are provided with prepaid UK shipping labels, or reimbursed for standard tracked UK courier costs where a prepaid label is not practical. There is nothing further for the buyer to pay on UK deliveries.

2. International shipping

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, international shipping is not included in the artwork price. Shipping is quoted per order based on the artwork's size, weight, packaging requirements and destination, and is either calculated at checkout or invoiced separately by Studio Direct before dispatch.

International orders are shipped with a fully tracked, insured courier. We will not release a work for international dispatch until shipping has been paid for in full.

3. International taxes & customs duties

For international orders outside the UK, the client/buyer is entirely responsible for any local import duties, customs fees, and local taxes payable upon entry to their destination country.

Studio Direct and the artist have no control over, and cannot estimate on your behalf, the charges levied by your local customs authority. Refusal to pay import duties or collect the parcel does not entitle the buyer to a refund of the artwork or shipping cost.

4. Returns

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, only for undamaged work in its original packaging. Return shipping is at the buyer's expense and must use a tracked, insured service. For international returns, the buyer is also responsible for any duties or fees incurred on the return leg.

5. Transit damage

Any transit damage must be reported to Studio Direct within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of both the work and the packaging. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method once the work is received and inspected, or once a courier insurance claim is settled.
